Hi, Jayanthi Charitable Trust, Regd. No. 673/2001 was founded in the year 2001 by the eminent Agriculturalist and Industrialist Mr.K.KRISHNAN.
The object of the trust is to establish, maintain and promote education, provide medical relief to the needy, home to the deprived and aged people and other objects of public utility.
The academic work is carried on by a team of devoted and dedicated teachers and the Principal under the able guidance of the correspondent.
Since the academic year 2007-08 onwards, we are proud that Jayanthi College of Education is managed by Jayanthi Charitable Trust and it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai - 600005, TN, INDIA, vide NCTE'S Recognition Order No.: & Date: F.SRO/NCTE/B.Ed/2007/4070, DT 02-11-2007 and also with great pride, we would like to state that we are also having all of the special subjects (i.e) Tamil, English, Maths, Physical Science, Biological Science, Computer Science, History and Commerce. Our college is Co.Ed. based with a maximum strength of 100 students.

INFRASTRUCTURE
The campus of Jayanthi College is spread out in a lush green area of 4,69acres. The college has fully equipped and well furnished Physical Science Lab, Education Technology Lab, Psychology Lab and ICT centre. Two Exclusive seminar halls have a seating capacity of 300 with an LCD projector. The Library has numerous reference books, journals, periodicals and dailies providing complex learning environment. There is large playground with sports courts for major games, recreational areas, seamless internet/wifi connectivity; well ventilated classrooms class rooms are also available.
PLACEMENT
The Placement cell takes adequate measures towards professional development of the students by organizing skill based training programs by conducting grooming sessions of the students in the areas like communication skill, behavioral skill ,employability skill, also helps every student define his/her career interest through individual expert counseling. Thus the institute seeks to place each of its student teachers in some of the National/International schools before the end of academic year.
We started Jayanthi Teacher Training Institute in the year 2008-09 with a strength of 50 students, which adds one more feather to the cap of our trust. We are proud that we stamped our achievements in the Educational field.
